37 Weeks

We're almost there!
We’re almost there!

How far along? 37 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Yep, I wear those. Still hanging on to a few non-maternity shirts that are long enough. I’m trying to get away with not buying anything else.
Stretch marks? I’ve got a few. Not too bad, though.

Sleep: I’d like to do that all day. But, when I am sleeping, which is often, I sleep just fine.

Best moment this week: Spending time with our Rabon side of the family & being full term! Any time now could be baby time!

Miss Anything? I really look forward to wearing my old jeans again. Not that maternity pants aren’t totally comfy but jeans are my favorite.

Movement: Baby has been super active the last few days. I literally watched my belly move around for like 30 minutes straight on Tuesday. Lately I can even feel Baby’s fingers moving. It’s freaky and amazing.

Food cravings: Last week Baby really wanted steak and hamburgers.

Gender: Still don’t know, but totally excited to know very soon!

Labor Signs/Symptoms: Well according to my appointment a week ago I was 50% effaced and an itty bit dilated. We didn’t check it out today, but I’ve been having Braxton-Hicks contractions  fairly regularly (now that I know that’s what was going on).  Baby also measured at 38 weeks today instead of 37, so I don’t know if that’s really a sign or symptom of labor but I thought it was cool. Baby has also dropped and head is down and quite low.

Belly Button in or out? By some act of God it is still in. I can’t figure out how, but it’s holding on. Barely.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy 🙂

Looking forward to: Baby finally being here! I might have literally been jumping up and down in the elevator at the doctor’s office because I couldn’t contain my excitement.
